JOB TITLE: Tactical Sourcing Administrator

FUNCTION: GBS Operations

LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role entails spearheading negotiations in tactical sourcing, specifically targeting indirect goods and services to ensure smooth supply within the designated area. This involves communicating the most advantageous alternatives for the company in terms of cost, features, and services. Additionally, the role is tasked with achieving savings through resourceful negotiations and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Facilitate negotiations for goods and services needed by tactical stakeholders, ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and regulations.
• Identify efficient suppliers in the market, negotiating favorable terms for the company based on factors such as cost, quality, and service.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of information required by local and regional authorities.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure organizational needs are met.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Maintain transparency in procurement processes through the purchasing system, updating it with negotiated prices, contracts, and service level agreements.
• Update procurement systems with pricing agreements, supplier information, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Regularly review demand from end users and update systems accordingly upon receipt of statements of work.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience working with COUPA or similar ERP platforms would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with navigating procurement modules and generating reports within these systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively to support procurement activities.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement roles, with a solid understanding of sourcing processes and best practices.
• Dedication to conducting procurement activities with integrity, transparency, and compliance with interpersonal guidelines.
• Knowledge of procurement workflows, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement documentation, data entry, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance, assess cost-saving opportunities, and identify areas for process improvement.
• Effective problem-solving abilities to address procurement challenges and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills to lead multiple procurement tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
