JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst – Planning & Reporting

FUNCTION: Finance

LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

• The role will support the preparation of the statutory and management accounting reporting process, and will perform tests, reconciliations, analysis with the purpose of testing the reasonableness of the various financial reports, which include financial statements, information package, supporting various decision points from the reporting process.
  
• The objective of this role is to meet business objectives by providing quality general accounting analysis and overall business support for end markets

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Act as an independent contributor within the Record to Report function, focusing on components such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management reporting, and product costing data integrity and quality.
• Perform assigned tasks to ensure the integrity, quality, and reasonableness of both management and statutory reporting processes.
• Assist in preparing submissions for the management reporting unit and meet the reporting requirements of legal entities within specified deadlines and frequency.
• Apply a predefined template to identify and analyze significant movements or changes in financial data.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and areas requiring further investigation.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Excellence English communication skills.
• Possess an accounting qualification.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
• Understand the impact of accounting processes and practices.
• Use platforms to analyze reports and identify any issues or challenges related to report functionalities and data.
• Apply relevant financial skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and proficiency in finance tools and systems, particularly BI/BPC, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
• Contribute to projects and improvements in execution, and effectively handle a remote or virtual customer base model.
• Display attention to detail, analytical skills, proactiveness, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal direct supervision.
• Possess knowledge of identifying risks and implementing controls.
