British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a GLOBAL TRACK & TRACE DEVELOPMENT&PERFORMANCE MANAGER in WARSAW
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
BAT needs to respond to the growing threat of Illicit Trade and to meet regulatory requirements globally (principally driven by the WHO Illicit Trade Protocol) by providing Tracking and Tracing, Digital Authentication and Digital Tax Verification capabilities across all tobacco products and beyond.
BAT has developed and deployed the essential capabilities required to meet these regulation requirements and to drive the business change to secure the supply chain.
Those capabilities need to be maintained, improved and adjusted to the changing regulatory demand within Tobacco Product Directive (TPD) and other local legislations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing regional projects related to T&T regulatory changes
- Supporting deployments – by communication and reporting at the respective forums
- Engaging with the business (Ops and Commercial) to bring loss reduction, capability and performance improvements
- Collaborating with the business and GT&T team to collect and deliver the requirements in line with the value, including process improvement, platform, monitoring, capabilities, trainings.
- Close co-operation with SME's and Product owners
- Understanding the TnT scope and capabilities for new requirements and assign appropriate team for the project
- Risk assessment for on time delivery and flag concerns to LT well in advance for decision making
- Service : follow through on critical tickets and their impacts, flag critical issues to supply
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to manage the system performance and address business losses.
- Raising global awareness on MD and how it impacts the business.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Previous operational experience in supply chain understanding of commercial environment.
- Previous experience in IDT or system related projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills to provide escalation point of contact and support for local SME teams and Logistics provider teams.
- Excellent influencing skills so can manage stakeholders internally (across various functions) and with external partners.
- The ability to understand and interpret ambiguous or non-specific legal requirements to create workable Supply Chain solutions with measurable performance characteristics.
- Proven leadership skills and innovative thinking.
- Excellent analytical skills, rigour, attention to detail
- Able to design, develop content and deliver technical/procedural training package.
- Ability to translate the Track and Trace changes into the business context, identify potential impact on the business & logistics processes.
- Strong project management skills with proven track record of successful change management delivery
