ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is about leading the Supply Chain Productivity / NCL (non-conformance loss) agenda aligned to Global Strategic objectives such as: Inventory Optimisation / Working Capital reduction, Finished Goods NCL reduction and Logistics Savings delivery.
The Productivity manager will drive the identification of top losses and savings opportunities .They will also engage with functional CoEs and BAU teams to enable visibility across key stakeholders and subsequent capability / process development to deliver Logistics savings, cash release in line with the above.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Lead the Central Europe Supply Chain IWS LE Pillar ensuring that the relevant capability / tools are embedded as part of BAU.
- Identify savings / cost avoidance initiatives and ensure deployment
- Ensure the relevant NC( new category) EoL ( end of life ) capabilities are embedded in BAU teams and driving the relevant NCL visibility / avoidance discussions with the appropriate partners / teams / forums.
- Own the deployment and embedding of Inventory optimisation (WC working capital reduction) initiatives within the BAU, handling non-compliance to ensure as a minimum, targets are met.
- Conduct necessary benchmarking reviews vs standard methodology operations (internal or external).
- Build and articulate to key partners a vision / pathway for the Area SC aligned with Strategic Company objectives in the area of Productivity and NCLs.
- Drive the development of individuals and teams by: acting as a role model and living the values, running performance, coordination of training/education and mentorship.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Min. 3 years’ experience in CPG Supply Chain, ideally multi field e.g. logistics and planning.
- Experience in Project management principles and processes, ideally within digital transformation of supply chain.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Good breadth of Supply Chain knowledge (concepts and principles) across multiple fields: e.g. Planning, NPI, Logistics, Production, IWS.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in handling change across multiple partner groups successfully.
- Experienced negotiation / influencing skills: ability to influence business partners
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Passion and aim for the development of people, processes, capability.
- Some exposure / experience in digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrated ability to identify optimisation initiatives: Savings, Cost avoidance, Cash, NCL.
