ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Have you wondered what it’s like working for a global company in a fast-changing industry? As a Student Assistant in Corporate & Regulatory Affairs (CORA) team, we offer hands-on exposure to the business and diverse stakeholders, giving you the skills and knowledge needed to kick-start your career journey.
You will be reporting to our Senior Government Affairs Manager and work closely with experienced professionals in the team. Your responsibilities will mainly consist of administrative tasks and professional support on specific issues depending on your qualifications. As a result, you will make a positive impact by helping the team with resource allocation and increase productivity.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Project management and issue tracking
- Management of payments and record keeping
- Administrative and functional support on day-to-day activities
- Support with presentations and spreadsheets
- Research and development of engagement material, memos, presentations, and similar materials
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
- Do you have experience from or knowledge of political decision-making processes?
- Have you any experience from working with legal and/or public affairs issues in any kind of organisation?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- About to finish Bachelor’s, or just started a Master’s degree in Law or Political Science
- Interest in politics, societal development, public policy and legal issues and understanding of the political system
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and also Excel
- Great writing and communication skills
- Great ability to plan and structure individual work and complete tasks in a timely and orderly manner
- Good teamworking skills
BENEFICIAL
- Experience from an administrative role, from a paralegal or legal assistant role to public affairs
- Experience from a political organization, political party, NGO, or external affairs role in the private sector
- Experience from strategic communication, journalism or policy development
- Interest in a possible future career path in a large multinational organisation
