British American Tobacco Mexicohas an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Performance Manager in Monterrey

This role works as a senior business partner for the US Performance Team by leading the delivery of key commercial insights and strategic initiatives. Ensure the effective realization of end market pricing strategies, evaluate the impact of pricing levers on volume trends, and contribute to forecast accuracy. Drive the development of forums to facilitate effective resource allocation decisions across the value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the key extension of the US Pricing Performance Team, ensuring sustainable communication and alignment of pricing assumptions within the value chain.
  • Oversee business tracking metrics and reporting routines that enable the US Performance team to generate strategic insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business performance through in-depth analysis and insights, directing attention to critical findings.
  • Lead the gathering, preparation, validation, and cleansing of various data sources.
  • Assume a leading role in the analytics team, focusing on data requirements, validation schematics, quality, and overall merchandising plans for assigned projects.
  • Effectively communicate complex data analysis to key stakeholders, considering geographic and cultural differences.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of pricing and promotion strategies, current volume trends, internal processes, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with external/internal partners to develop and deploy commercial strategies/tactics for Tobacco and new categories

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in revenue management, category management, pricing promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and using Data Visualization Tools and developing dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy).
  • Proven experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data and interpreting large datasets.Ability to perform technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, and collaborative filtering.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with culturally diverse stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Strong creativity and proactivity skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
