British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning and Reporting Analyst in Bucharest.
This role is part of GBS Finance, Record to Report department.
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to P&R team by handling daily planning and reporting tasks. He/she will be part of a team of professionals, working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances.
Analyzing financial documents, reconciliations and reporting are a large part of the senior reporting analyst’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be able to work comfortably with numbers and has attention to detail.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate financial forecasts within SOP cycles (Cost of Sales, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reviewing and analyzing monthly forecasts, monitoring of sensitivities and performance for CY and CY+1 for management reporting purposes
- Ensuring accruals and provisions are posted based on IFRS requirements and that actuals are reported on time in full and can be used by senior management to make decisions based on strategic insights.
- Assisting End Markets and senior managers in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and collaborate with other internal departments for planning and reporting tasks. completion.
- Ensuring a robust control environment for accounting process of the businesses in scope (all financials are Audit and SoX compliant
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Jr Finance Analyst, Jr Finance Assistant or similar role, at least 1 year
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel in particular and fluency in English
- Familiarity with accounting software (ex. SAP)
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Beneficial: BPC,Power BI,Excel Macro
